The founders2 Elevator Program distinguishes itself by focusing on the holistic development of the entrepreneur as an individual. It sets itself apart from other startup support programs in several key ways.
First, there are so-called ‘seed accelerators‘. These offer three to four month programs , typically divided into business modeling and funding phases. In contrast, The founders2 training program takes a different approach. It exclusively accepts entrepreneurs who are already in the seed stage and provides a two-year program. The program consists of alternating monthly one-day training sessions and half-day workshops. The workshops serve as a platform to ensure that the acquired knowledge is effectively implemented in the entrepreneurs’ businesses. Furthermore, the training content is not solely focused on building the business, but also emphasizes the personal skills development of the entrepreneurs. This recognition stems from our understanding that success at this stage depends on the entrepreneur as an individual and leader.
The founders2 program flow
On the other hand, there are government support programs – with and without subsidies – that provide knowledge and contacts through hired consultants. founders2 on the other hand offers directly applicable know-how, exchange of experience and demands the implementation of this in the company. founders2 participants exclusively learn and collaborate with experienced entrepreneurs, ensuring a practical and insightful learning environment.
In addition, there are many other privately run incubators or accelerators of any form. The incubators are especially effective in the early stages of a company. However, among accelerators, we have not come across a program that holistically promotes and trains entrepreneurs, addressing not only their business skills but also their personal growth, as comprehensively as founders2 does.
What does the founders2 program look like?
Here’s a brief overview:
Participants are entrepreneurs in the seed stage.
The training team consists of experienced entrepreneurs.
Program duration is 24 months.
Training Days alternate monthly with half-day coaching workshops.
Two thirds of the Training Days are on-site events.
The on-site events take place at selected locations in Europe.
Virtually all Coaching Workshops are virtual.
The founders set themselves implementation goals, which are tracked by the coaches.
A Growth Day is held in the middle of the program and the founders2 Finals take place at the end of the program.
During the program participants collect qualification credits, a certain minimum number of points is required to successfully complete the program.
The cost for one year is 9460 Euro. Group participation is discounted.
As per April 2023 you will receive € 35’000 in funding and a 3% warrant has to be signed as well.
